For example, for minor problems using “Mane” Hair Spray makes the existing hair appear much denser, or “Couvre,” cover cream can in some cases mask slight hair loss.
As an alternative we can add hair with a well-designed hairpiece or even hair extensions if the remaining hair is in good condition, but we do not advise extensions for Alopecia Areata. If the hair loss is severe then you may consider choosing a lightweight, skin like monofilament base hairpiece or if you prefer, a full covering - a modern lightweight wig, to copy your own hair or to improve on it.
Most clients don’t want a dramatic change so together we’ll select a style with you not too different from your original so you’ll either get compliments from your friends and family or they won’t notice at all! Nevertheless you could however take this opportunity to choose a shade or style you’ve been longing for years - and why not!
